Two earthquakes kill five and injure 21 in Peru
At least five people died and 21 were injured after two earthquakes struck a mountainous area of Peru, the country's civil defence chief said. The tremors, of magnitude 5.1 and 3.7, hit Chupaca province in the Junin region on Saturday night, about 300km east of Lima, at depths of 24km and 18km respectively.
